Stampaz vs Loopy Loyalty in 30 seconds

If you're looking for a Loopy Loyalty alternative, start with what they share: both put the card in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, and customers don't download an app. The differences are price, card types and how many locations each plan covers. Loopy figures come from its pricing page, as of October 2026:

Loopy LoyaltyStampaz
Monthly priceStarter $25, Growth $69, Ultimate $95Local €29, Pro €49, Chain €149 (excl. tax)

The honest summary: if you only need one punch card in one shop, Loopy Starter ($25) is cheaper than Stampaz Local (€29), and you can try it free for 15 days. If you want more card types, EUR billing, EU data hosting or several locations without jumping to the top plan, Stampaz fits better.

What each one is

Loopy Loyalty

Loopy Loyalty offers digital stamp and punch cards delivered as Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes. Its site says "no app required": customers add the card from a QR code or a link. It has a Stamper App for your team and sub-users for staff.

Its site doesn't say where the company is based, and third-party directories disagree, so we don't treat its HQ as confirmed.

Stampaz

Stampaz also puts the card in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet with no app, and adds a web card for anyone who uses neither. The customer scans the QR on your counter poster, fills in the minimum and saves it in seconds.

The difference in approach: Stampaz bills in euros, hosts data on EU servers and includes six card types on every plan.

Loopy Loyalty pricing vs Stampaz pricing

Loopy Loyalty (as of October 2026)

According to its pricing page, in dollars, saving 20% if you pay yearly:

  • Starter: $25 a month or $250 a year. 1 location, 1 card design, 3 sub-users.
  • Growth: $69 a month or $690 a year. 3 locations, up to 3 designs, 10 sub-users.
  • Ultimate: $95 a month or $950 a year. 10 locations, up to 10 designs, 50 sub-users.

Unlimited customers on every plan and a 15-day free trial with no credit card.

Stampaz

Prices exclude tax, with no lock-in:

PlanMonthlyYearlyLocationsActive cardsPush campaigns
Local€29€290124 a month
Pro€49€490Up to 1010Unlimited
Chain€149€1,490Up to 30UnlimitedUnlimited

Stampaz has no free plan and no advertised free trial.

A worked example: you have 4 locations. At Loopy, Growth covers 3, so you need Ultimate ($95 a month). At Stampaz, Pro covers up to 10 for €49 a month. With a single shop and a single punch card, on the other hand, Loopy Starter is cheaper.

Mind the currency, too: Loopy bills in dollars, while Stampaz bills in euros. Depending on where your bank account is, one of the two will come with exchange-rate costs.

Wallet and the customer experience

They're very evenly matched here, and it's fair to say so. In both cases:

  • The customer doesn't download an app.
  • The card lives in the phone's wallet and updates itself when they earn.
  • Sign-up happens through a QR code.

What Stampaz adds:

  • A web card for anyone who doesn't use Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
  • Push notifications to the lock screen (4 campaigns a month on Local; unlimited on Pro and Chain), not counting the automatic update for each stamp, balance or reward.
  • Location reminders near your shop using Wallet's location feature (Pro and Chain).
  • A design that updates itself on every phone, with no one losing stamps, points or balance.

Card types and features

Loopy Loyalty focuses on stamp and punch cards, with the option of one reward or several rewards on the same card.

Stampaz has six types on every plan:

  • Stamps, for repeat purchases (coffee, haircuts).
  • Points with optional tiers, for variable tickets (bakeries, stores).
  • Tiered discount, for very loyal customers.
  • Cashback, store credit to spend in your shop.
  • Gift card, reloadable with optional expiry.
  • Membership: "2 haircuts a month", "a coffee a day".

You can run several at once: 2 on Local, 10 on Pro and unlimited on Chain. Pro and Chain include automations for birthdays, welcomes and "we miss you". To decide which type suits you, see points vs stamps vs cashback.

If all you'll ever use is a punch card, this difference matters little and Loopy does the job.

Your staff and the scanner

Loopy gives your team access through sub-users and its Stamper App: up to 3, 10 or 50 people depending on the plan.

Stampaz uses a scanner that runs on any phone in the shop, with no accounts or apps, and blocks double scans. There's no one to add or remove when your team changes.

Data, currency and privacy

Stampaz stores data on EU servers, is GDPR-compliant and lets you export to CSV on every plan. Prices are in euros, excluding tax.

We couldn't confirm on Loopy's site where it's based or where data is hosted. If either matters to you, ask before you sign up.

When each one makes sense

Choose Loopy Loyalty if…

  • You have one shop and one punch card: Starter at $25 a month is the cheaper of the two.
  • You want 15 days free before paying.
  • Paying in dollars suits you.

Choose Stampaz if…

  • You want more than a punch card: points, cashback, gift cards or memberships, with no fees because you take payment at your own till.
  • You have between 4 and 10 locations: Pro (€49) covers them all.
  • You prefer euros and EU data hosting.
  • You don't want to manage accounts for every staff member.

How to switch from Loopy Loyalty to Stampaz without losing customers

Since both use Wallet, the switch is almost invisible to customers: one card in the phone's wallet replaces another.

  1. Export your customer list from Loopy, if your plan allows it, so you know who had how many stamps.
  2. Create the card in Stampaz with the same rule and a similar design. Our guide on how to create a loyalty card for your business covers it.
  3. Print the QR poster and swap it for the old one.
  4. Carry over earned stamps for each customer when they sign up for the new card.
  5. If you can, send a push from Loopy saying there's a new card and they keep their stamps.
  6. Run both for a few weeks, then cancel the old one.

If you run a coffee shop, a bakery or a restaurant, its page has card ideas for your trade.
